Fritjof Capra, the quantam physicist and the author of the best-selling, The Tao of Physics wanted to write that great book, but he was working fulltime and could not take time out from his hectic shedule to complete the manusciript. But he met up with a woman who really admired his work. What would it take for him to complete the book, she asked him. His reply was to the point: A year off from work and the salary he would have earned during that year. It was in the '70s and his salary was $26,000 per year.
